5pm at Murenos in Ponte Del Manuel (spelling may well be suspect! Must check the map) - one coffee, one water and a juice for €3! Also 2 English shops (Arkwrights!), a very good butcher and baker!

We stay at El Toril....this used to be the road that the drove bulls along...hence El Toril!

Here is our lovely house which is much larger the our home in Orkney so I keep losing things...put them down and then spend ages looking. We have spent lots of time on this balcony which gets sun all day and has a great view toward the Med and on a clear the hills of Africa! I haven't posted much in the last few days as we have been settling in, learning to negotiate the steep and twisty roads in a left hand drive card! We have had a few nice walks and have made forays to Periana and Velez Malaga. The weather has been good and yesterday was particularly lovely....it is raining today, though, but after the weather the UK has been experiencing we can hardly complain! So will post a few photos now......

......just waiting for the sun to come round so we can have breakfast on the terrace. Thinking of you all and hoping the weather 'bomb' is not as bad as predicted...
